BMT Appoints David Sell as Managing Director of BMT Cordah

BMT Group Ltd has appointed longstanding employee David Sell as Managing Director of BMT Cordah Ltd, with immediate effect.

David has 25 years' experience in environment consultancy, with particular specialism in environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, management systems and training for engineering projects, primarily for the international oil and gas sector.

He takes over the role of Managing Director from Dr Owen Harrop, who was appointed Head of Energy and Environment - in 2006. Formerly Operations Director, David has also been a member of BMT Cordah's Board for four years.

On his appointment, David says:

"We see huge opportunity for BMT Cordah in the near future, particularly in the oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors. Having worked at the company for over 10 years already, I feel confident that I will build on our recent growth and push the business forward in these areas."

Previous to joining BMT in 1996, David was a Senior Biologist and Project Manager at AURIS Ltd in Aberdeen. Educated at the University of Aberdeen, David has a first class honours degree and PhD in biological sciences.
