The World's Leading Cruise Company Selects BMT

Carnival Corporation and plc, the largest and most successful cruise line company in the world, has appointed BMT Defence Services Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, as an accredited supplier.

BMT's achievement of the ‘Gold Carnival UK Supplier Accreditation Programme' certificate builds on the company's existing affiliation with the cruise giant. It also coincides with the recent launch of BMT's Passenger Shipping initiative, which brings a well-harmonised set of technical services to the cruise industry from offices in the UK, US and Canada.

The Gold standard accreditation is only awarded to suppliers who score very highly on Carnival's registration and profiling questionnaire, which is independently audited for accuracy. BMT's high score reflects its innovative approach to the support of shipbuilding specification processes (for automation systems) and its willingness to work closely with the newbuild organisation.
